The first two years · Live

Baby

How we will raise our baby, and share the journey.

A map of the first twenty-four months as Meli's family will live them together — meaning, presence, milk, sleep, play, and the days we keep. Written before the cry, to be held to after it.

The vow

We will stay in the room.

A child does not need a perfect parent. They need a house that does not leave when the night is long. We will make meaning on purpose, keep the days we can keep, and tell the truth about the rest.

Three books

A map you can walk.

Eighteen chapters. The stance, the clock, the rooms that never close. Open only the page you need — every door leads back to the whole.

The clock

Twenty-four months, in seasons.

We watch. We do not race. Open the weather you are in.

The rooms that stay

Practices for every month.

Health, milk, bath, clothes, play, teaching, memory — return here from any season.

How we will share it

Lived first. Written after.

This book is the plan. The letters will be the weather. We will not perform a baby for a feed. We will keep a few days so well that the rest can live in the body.

When something works at our table, we will say so. When we change our minds, we will say that too. A family that hides its becoming teaches shame.

We will live this and write what we actually did. The plan is a vow, not a course you enroll in.

Still open

Notes from a house.

Is Meli Baby a course?
No. It is the plan we will live with our own baby, written in public so we can be held to it. We learn by living. Nothing here is enrolment.
Is this medical advice?
No. Notes from a house, not a clinic. You remain responsible for your child and for any care you seek. If something worries you, call the person who can see the child.
Where do we begin?
Open The promise, then Presence. If the baby is already here, open the season you are in and keep The rooms that stay beside you.
Will you update the chapters?
Yes. The plan is the vow. The letters will be the weather — what we actually did, what we changed, what we would tell a friend.
Do we have to follow every month?
No. The clock is a map, not a race. Children arrive on their own weather. We watch. We do not score them.

Name the chapter you lived.

Meli Baby sits on one house profile. The score is the house, not a chapter.
