Cappuccino
A coffee shop we will invent and run as a family artwork — serious coffee, impossible sandwiches, small organic food, and smoothies built with intention.
meli is an artist and a chef. Her family are coffee lovers, sandwich obsessives, and willing accomplices. So we are turning the whole thing into one edible artwork.
We want the first sip to wake up the table, the sandwich to need both hands, and the smoothie to look like colour escaped the studio. Made for the rush of Athens, without rushing what goes into it.
Cappuccino is an hour, not only a cup.
Coffee gives a family permission to stop in the same place. The ritual begins with attention — to the beans, the milk, the person across the table — and becomes a small structure for the whole day.
The first cup
The city is opening its shutters. Espresso is the clean beginning: fragrant, exact, and made to be drunk at the bar or carried into the morning.
The cappuccino hour
Our ritual is coffee plus company. Milk folded into espresso, something warm to eat, phones down for a minute, and the family day finding its shape.
The sandwich becomes lunch
A proper sandwich should hold the middle of the day: excellent bread, organic vegetables, herbs, acid, texture, and enough generosity to need both hands.
The second beginning
Athens changes pace but does not stop. Coffee, a vivid smoothie, or a small plate creates another table before the evening carries everyone onward.

“A recipe is only finished when everyone at the table goes quiet for the first bite.”
Cappuccino brings together the things this family already loves: coffee as ritual, cooking as composition, sandwiches as architecture, and good food as the fastest way to gather people.

Why the centre
Central Athens belongs to everyone at once: families, artists, shopkeepers, students, workers, neighbours, and people arriving from somewhere else. Cappuccino should live inside that mixture.
A street with a pulse
We are forming the shop for the busiest flow of the city centre — a visible ground-floor door, morning-to-evening movement, and a counter that can serve the fast hour without becoming fast food.
Greek coffee life, our chapter
Athens already understands that coffee is not only a drink. It is time, conversation, shade, argument, reunion, and watching the street. We are joining that ritual with the food and visual language of our own family.

Meli Cappuccino is forming in central Athens. The waitlist is interest, not a reservation or order. Menu ideas may change. Food and supplements are not medical advice.
